They are all tied to apparel and super strong messaging complete with corporate social responsibility. Amy's passion for business development manifested in the co-founding of The AGILE Group, LLC, which works in the start-up, acceleration, recalibration, and transition phases of an organization. It is based on the Build to Sell/Value Builder concept in addition to other change-oriented system work including valuation, strategy, development, succession, and organizational/operational streamlining. Amy is true to her architectural/interior design roots and has a design-oriented business called ALN Sustainability Group, LLC that does work on a referral basis. In all of her work, she continues to emphasize corporate social responsibility and economic/community development impact building. Amy is passionate about strength-building and creative processes as she has a blend of design-thinking and entrepreneurial thinking in all the work she does. Amy has translated these skills and experiences into a unique arena: teaching and development of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) programming at Inspire Innovation Lab and some programming for K-12 entrepreneurial activities. She also has done extensive teaching at a university level and engaged in numerous leadership roles at the local and state levels. Amy LOVES AVIATION & FLYING, and her blue eyes are REAL...her natural color. _____________________________________________________________ PERSONAL GROWTH NOTE: "I have found that I have some unique skills and abilities that are both translational and transformational as a design thinker – blend of design & strategy, culture & society, and science & technology. I see systems and processes with great ease in both graphic and written form. I can take a situation of complexity, complication, and “chaos” and work through it with a comfort level that is foreign to many people. Design thinking and problem solving go hand in hand with innovation and development as well as empowering people, team building, and leadership/followership." "I use my abilities with project management and empathy/relationship-building to help people embrace this kind of complexity and find their strengths and comfort in how they can innovate, create, implement, and execute. I model this and mentor this. My teaching experience has made me a high output and high-quality leader and by project management skills have made me effective and efficient. It is through creativity and design that my approach to teams and innovation shines through. I believe that there is always a solution, always a way to find shared understanding, and always a way to create output, impacts, revenue, and enrichment." "I also am a survivor of narcissistic abuse/domestic violence. I openly talk about this now. It was a quiet little hell that I held inside when it was happening. I have a passion to 'unmask' what this experience was in order to help even one person avoid this, survive this, escape this, and recover faster from this. If it can happen to me, it can happen to others like me...I never thought I would be in these shoes and have this in my life experiences, but I do. Therefore, I am willing to talk and share my experiences and assist in any way to empower others to not only survive but thrive. No one should experience this and it is only in the raw authenticity of sharing that we can be stronger and minimize the occurrences."
